Ask anything and my father will do it.

2000 years later we still can’t get this one to work.

I actually have a daughter with cerebral palsy, she's 22 now. She's in a wheelchair.(and I've got a continous groin pull from lifting her)

When I was a christian, my mother and stepfather, who had just attended one of the "Hunter Ministries: How to heal Seminar" back in around 87 wanted to give it a shot with my Tiffany. We prayed for several hours did the whole routine, cried, spoke in tounges, etc. Nothing. It was heartbreaking.
Absoultely heartbreaking.
Odly enough I remained a christian for another 15 years.

If you read the verse in context, asking in Jesus "name" takes for granted that you understand you are in Christ. That means you are no longer just a cleaned up person, but now have put on (by faith) the very same innocense and rightiousness that Christ has. That's the whole point of the gift. You are in Christ and He in you and both in the Father. If you have really done this and understand it, joy will come without you doing anything to make it happen. Prayers will be answered and yes, healing. still I've noticed it often takes time. In one case of a friend with MS, it took 6 months of weekly prayer, but healing happened.

Mark,
God is still at work in you and in Tiffany. May His love find a way back into your heart. I have lots of thoughts but I know you are hurt and I want to be sensitive to that. May His peace become yours.

God doesn't have any control over FREE-WILL, thus, que cera cera, oui? Nevertheless, Jesus is watchin' everyone, not just YOU, dork, to see if we take the LEFT or the RIGHT path: too many left-hand-choices, bad news. Lemme give to you another FREE-CHOICE decision which'll hopefully turn-your-finite-existence-around.

If you say there isn't a God, I say we shall ALL return to Jesus when you croak (your soul is indelible) and because I was an actual NDE, lemme share with you what I actually know Seventh-Heaven's gonna be like for you/me if you get in the boat, brudda: meet this ex-mortal Upstairs for the most-extra-groovy, pleasure-beyond-measure, Ultra-Yummy-Reality-Addiction in the Great Beyond for a BIG-ol-warp-drive, kick-some-ass-orgasm, party-hardy, 1011011011...-yummy-flavors you DO NOT wanna miss the smmmokin’-hot-deal. YES! For God, anything and everything and more! is possible!! Cya soon…
